Floating Homes in Sausalito have been the focus of my work for the past 18 years. They require that a builder have a specific set of skills and tools to be built and maintained effectively. The cycle of tides and seasons is felt acutely on these floating structures. The houseboats have most of the systems that a regular house on land has, but they are often modified for life on the water. There are several considerations that cannot be overlooked for these specialized structures.
